    UK and EEA residents can purchase tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games on the London 2012 website at, www.tickets.london2012.com.  If you are not a resident of the UK or a designated European country, regardless of citizenship, you will need to apply for tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games through your local National Olympic Committee (NOC) or appointed Authorised Ticket Reseller (ATR).     London Prepare Series
    The London Prepares Series is the official London 2012 sports testing programme. These events will give spectators the chance to see competitive sport in Olympic and Paralympic venues for the first time, whilst enabling the London 2012 Organising Committee to test the venues, fields of play, scoring and timing.     London 2012 Festival
    The London 2012 Festival is the culmination of the Cultural Olympiad, a 12-week, UK-wide festival that will run from 21 June – 9 September 2012. Many events are free of charge but may require tickets, please visit the London 2012 Festival website for more information. 
     

    Important note: Tour operators that have not been appointed by London 2012 or the relevant National Olympic or Paralympic Committee are not entitled to sell Olympic packages, to run promotions around the Games or to use the Olympic branding. A huge crackdown operation is underway, but you should still be very wary of bogus websites and organisations claiming to sell ‘Olympic’ tickets.
