I have heard there are events taking place in some Olympic venues before the Games, why is this?
The London Prepares Series is the official London 2012 sports testing programme. These events will give spectators the chance to see competitive sport in Olympic and Paralympic venues for the first time, whilst enabling the London 2012 Organising Committee to test the venues, fields of play, scoring and timing.
