Visit East Anglia and rail operator Greater Anglia have joined forces to develop special travel and accommodation offers for journalists and spectators attending the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer.
With its close proximity to London and excellent rail connections, East Anglia is looking to encourage Games visitors to base themselves in the region. Visit East Anglia's Chief Executive Keith Brown explains, 'journalists and visitors can be on the train and into their hotel room in East Anglia in no time. With a quieter and quick commute to and from the capital, together with the wealth of culture, landscape and heritage East Anglia has to offer, why wouldn't you choose to avoid the hustle and bustle of London and head East?'
If you are a business based in East Anglia and would like to get involved by offering special accommodation arrangements to Olympic and Paralympic visitors, please email lucy@visiteastanglia.net.
